I have not been able to figure out how to get the 3-point harness unsnapped from the chair like I can with the should straps. To clean these I have an old toothbrush and a small bowl of water and dish soap. It takes about 5 minutes to scrub then really well. Wipe off with a cloth to dry and they look like new. You may want to move the buckle adjusters around while cleaning to get under them. If anyone knows how to get all the straps off to put them in the wash without having to use a screwdriver, I’d love to hear!

Hi there!

We’ve all been there… high chairs get pretty nasty pretty fast.

I would remove the straps and brush/wipe off any big, dried-on pieces of food. Place them in your washer on normal cycle in warm water. Put about 1/2 cup of baking soda in there with enough detergent to wash the straps. Let them soak in that mixture for a few hours or overnight. Then wash them normally. If they are smelly, you can add some vinegar to an extra rinse cycle.

This is the only high chair cleaning method that hasn’t failed me. And it earns bonus points for being non-toxic. It works great on the chair pad/fabric, too!
